Country Stone Farm Building restored to a House

A period farm-building with solid stone walls has been restored and changed into a house.

The original farm building has been kept while contemporary pieces have been added
which create beautiful effects.

The home owner has a great knowledge of antique restorations which of course added a certain styles to the project.

Exterior is buried into a garden and blends in nicely with the stone work .

The pitched roof in corrugated galvanised iron has a neutral colour which again gives a contemporary contrast to the old feel.

A spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms where skylights provide plenty of light.
