An upstairs-downstairs beach house in county wexford ireland

It’s funny how things are set in stone, but in this unusual house we have the bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen and living area upstairs. The high and differently shaped ceilings transmit a loft feel and large windows plus a glass door leading onto a balcony allow stunning views across the sea.

The house has timber floors throughout and the walls are all painted in an off-white colour.

The glass doors in the bedrooms downstairs lead onto a patio with lots of pot plants and a shrub garden in the background.

The house has timber cladding on top and below cement walls with rounded corners, painted in a grey tone.
