The existing house has been cleverly restored and melts well with the new part. The well-designed and colourful gardens can be admired through large windows and glass doors from every section of the house.
The atrium-style extension provides a subtle transition from the inside to the outside of the house. This effect is beautifully emphasized by a wooden floor on the veranda that continues through the garden door and provides an intelligent timber patio floor. Very clever indeed!
